On 08/27/2025 at 3:15pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jialing “Julianne” Zhu conducted an UNANNOUNCED COMPLAINT SITE INSPECTION. LPA met with Licensee Maria “Cristina” Bentancur. LPA advised Licensee the nature of the inspection is to close investigation on a complaint against the facility regarding Children’s Personal Rights. Present during the inspection were Licensee, Licensee’s fingerprint-cleared spouse, and 6 children in care (2 infants, 1 preschool-age, and 3 school-age).
Throughout the course of the investigation, LPAs Jialing Zhu and April Wright obtained a copy of the facility roster, reviewed children’s files, and conducted interviews with Licensee, Licensee’s spouse, and other involved parties. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated.
Report was reviewed, exit interview was conducted, and Appeal Rights were provided with Licensee Cristina Bentancur. Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
