25 | On 3/13/24 at 10:00am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Catherine Fernandes and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Mayla Mendoza met with Director Carrie Jones for an Informal meeting via zoom.
The purpose of the meeting was to go over the recent complaint that was filed on February 2, 2024 regarding the preschooler that left the center. LPM, LPA and Director went over the recent changes the center has made to prevent the incident from reoccurring. The Director stated she has had a meeting with staff and parents about ensuring the gates are closed at all times, the Director decided to add questions as part of the intake process which will include questions regarding the child's behaviors and she has also made changes to the preschool schedule to ensure there is always extra coverage if needed.
