On 10/13/25 at 8:15 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mario Caro conducted an Unannounced Continued Complaint Investigation and met with Family Advocate Harold Scoggins. During the visit there were 3 Preschool aged children in care and 2 additional staff. During today's visit LPA observed classroom activity, interviewed staff, interviewed children, and Delivered findings.

An allegation was made that staff insisted in feeding a child who did not want to eat. Interviews indicated while at times the children don't want to eat certain foods the staff encourage them to try foods and haven't been forcing them to eat. The allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Finding was delivered. Exit interview conducted and report was provided to Family Advocate Harold Scoggins.

During the visit there were 3 Preschool aged children in care and 2 additional staff. During today's visit LPA observed classroom activity, interviewed staff, interviewed children, and Delivered findings.

An allegation was made that a day-care child was forced to remain on napping cot while awake. Interviews indicated the children are given books to read on their mats or allowed to read/play in the quiet area in the corner of the classroom. The allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Finding was delivered. Exit interview conducted and report was provided to Family Advocate Harold Scoggins.

Interviews indicated a child did sustain an injury while in care, but was adequately supervised at the time of injury and fell on playground turf that cushioned the fall. The allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Finding was delivered. Exit interview conducted and report was provided to Family Advocate Harold Scoggins.
