On 07/21/25 at 8:45am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dana Santiago conducted a Subsequent Unannounced Complaint Investigation and met with licensee Doris Hancock to deliver the findings. During the visit there were 3 school-aged children in care with licensee and an Assistant. LPA conducted facility inspection, interviews and made observations. Facility is in ratio compliance today.
Complainant alleges that Licensee transports children in an unsafe manner. During the course of investigation, LPA conducted facility inspections, Interviews, observations and record review.
Information and evidence did not prove that the above allegation did or did not occur. LPA inspected the vehicle licensee uses to transport children from elementary school to her daycare. LPA observed car seats and booster seats in the vehicle. Licensee denied the allegation and stated that she uses all the appropriate seats and boosters as per child’s age and takes necessary steps to stay in compliance.
Therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with licensee Doris Hancock.
A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.
