This is an amended report from the original findings that was delivered on 07/27/2022. Today, 09/07/2022, at approximately 10:00 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lorraine Dacanay Breaux conducted an Unannounced Complaint Investigation to delivery the amended findings. Today there were eighty-eight (88) children in care and 21 additional staff. During this investigation process the LPA inspected the facility, reviewed records, and conducted interviews. The allegation is that facility did not comply with the child's day care contract. On several occasions, the facility was not able to provide care and supervision to a child(ren) based upon the limited staff available. Based on the observations, interviews, and file reviews completed during this investigation, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, Therefore, the allegation is SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, 101229 (a) Title 22, Division 12 is being cited on 9099-D page.

Type B citation was issued during today's inspection. LPA discussed with the Director the importance of keeping the families informed if the facility is lack of staff.

Exit interview was conducted. Appeal Rights provided. A notice of site visit was posted and must be posted 30 Days. Exit interview was conducted with Director, Tywanda Bartlow.

Effective 09/07/2022 Director will review contracts of children and make sure the facility is able to accomdate. Director is in the process of hiring additional staff. Director's goal is to overstaff to ensure there is enough staff.
