On Wednesday, September 7, 2022, LPA Lorraine Dacanay Breaux met with Director, Tywanda Bartlow for an unannounced complaint investigation inspection to delivery the findings. There are eighty-eight (88) children and twenty-one (21) staff members. During this investigation process the LPA inspected the facility, reviewed records, and conducted interviews. The allegation is that facility did not centrally store infant's medication. There was a request made to the school regarding a child’s underlying medical condition. The school made a request to obtain further information/documentation. There was disconnect between the school and the parent to obtain additional information needed for the child’s medication. Based on the investigative findings, there is not enough evidence to prove that staff didn’t centrally store the child’s medication. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation occur. Therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Appeal Rights provided. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Tywanda Bartlow.
