On 8/28/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jaleesa Jackson met with Director Yvonne Ma to deliver the findings of a complaint filed against the Child Care Center (CCC) regarding the allegation mentioned above. Present during the inspection were 36 infants and 11 staff.

LPA Jackson conducted interviews. Through interviews it was found that on different occasions roaches have been seen at the facility. The allegation the staff does not keep the facility free from pests has been SUBSTANTIATED. Based on LPA's interviews, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegations are found to be SUBSTANTIATED.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Appeal Rights were given and discussed. An exit interview was conducted.

The allegation the staff does not ensure facility is free of mold has been SUBSTANTIATED. Based on LPA's interviews and record review, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegations are found to be SUBSTANTIATED.

The licensee discovered that the wall tested postive for mold. The facility sealed off the area until repairs could be made. The mold and water damage was remediated and the wall was replaced. Deficiency has been cleared as of today 8/28/2024.
