32 | The last Emergency Fire Drill was conducted on 06/15/2023 and properly logged. All cleaning agents and poisons are stored safely in lock cabinets or out of reach. Food items are stored safely and dated. The facility has two fully stock first aid kids, one inside and one in the outside play area. The facility keeps stocked emergency bags, and has a place ready to store EpiPens in case of IMS are needed.
At 11:35 am, LPA reviewed sign-in and out sheet. The center has a complete record of sign-in/out sheets by an authorized pick up person. LPA reviewed five children records and all files are complete. All children have a record of emergency identification information on file. Three staff records reviewed were complete. All staff has a criminal record clearance on file. The staff has a current Pediatric First Aid/CPR certificate on file. All staff has taken Mandated Reporter training within the last 2 years of the date of this inspection.
Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. If any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department.
