25 | On 1/12/26 at 1:30 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mario Caro conducted an unannounced annual/random inspection and met with Director Riley Wise present for the inspection were 13 infants in care and 5 additional staff. The entire center was inspected for a health and safety check. Operating hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The Infant center is located in a separate building next to the Preschool component. The Infant room has three rooms, there were two rooms used for napping, and a large play room. The children have their own playground yard, in a gated off section of the preschool play yard all in safe condition and free from sharp, loose or pointed parts. The center also has a waiver for the infants to be able to share the preschool yard when the preschoolers are not there. There is access to drinking water available and teachers are always present. Cabinets, drawers, and rooms used for storage were locked. Furniture and equipment were age appropriate and in good condition, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. Floors were clean and free from tripping hazard. Foods and beverages were stored safely. Food storage areas were clean, free of litter, rubbish, and rodents/vermin. The facility provides morning and afternoon snack for the children. Menus were appropriately posted. Trash cans for solid waste have tight-fitting covers on and were in good repair. A Changing table is available in the classroom (within arm’s length of the sink). There are enough towels and soap supplies. LPA observed a fully charged Fire extinguisher (3A-40-BC), Carbon monoxide Detectors were tested and in working order. The smoke detectors are built in to the facility, and were last tested on 04/10/25, and are in working order. The last disaster drill was conducted on 12/09/25 and was properly logged. Facility does not provide transportation for children, but Director understands that children cannot be left alone, unattended in parked vehicles. Facility’s License, Parents’ Rights Poster PUB 393, Personal Rights, and Activity Schedules were observed to be posted. There are no bodies of water accessible to children in care in or around the center. There are no firearms in the facility. The last lead testing was conducted 11/16/2022 with no exceedance.
