13 | On 03/29/2023 at 1:45 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Chishiro Newman's large family child care home. LPA met with licensee and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. During today's inspection, there were 9 children in care (2 infants and 7 preschool aged children.) and 10 children enrolled. Also present during inspection were 2 aides. The finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. During the course of the investigation completed a physical plant inspection, reviewed facility records and conducted interviews. Complainant alleges that parent disclosed that his child was injured by licensee. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, LPA was unable to determine at this time if licensee injured a child in care. Therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with licensee, Chishiro Newman. Appeal rights were provided.
