13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Melanie Otsuji and Jonathan Williams arrived to the facility unannounced to conduct an initial investigation into the above allegation. LPA was met with Office Administrator, Sophie Ko. Present during today's visit were 3 preschool staff and 14 preschool aged children.
LPAs made observations and conducted interviews. Based on observations LPAs observed Go-Gurt within in a preschool classroom to have been expired. LPAs also observed expired brownie mix, crackers (best if used by dates expired), and expired string cheese within the school's pantry and refrigerator.
Based on LPAs observations and interviews which were conducted and record review, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, (Title 22, Division 12 & Chapter 1), are being cited on the attached LIC. 9099D.
