25 | On March 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods met with licensee Alessandra Puga for the purpose of conducting an announced case management inspection for changing an on-limits area to a off limits area during construction. Present for the inspection were the licensee two assistants, three infants, and six preschool age children. All adults subject to criminal background review have obtained criminal record clearance. Licensee stated that the facility operates from Monday to Friday 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
The kitchen will be under construction on Monday March 24, 2025 and will be off limits to children in care along with the dining area. The licensee states she will utilized the living room area as a walk through to get the children to the child care area past the bedroom in the hallway. The licensee said the construction project will last about four weeks and she will notify licensing once completed. LPA reminded the licensee that once the work is completed that he would come back to the facility and inspect the home and change it back to an on-limits area.
The new Off and On-limits are listed below:
On- Limit areas are the: Living room, day-care room, two bedrooms on the right side of the hallway, backyard, and the bathroom near the day-care room,
Off- Limit areas are the: Master bedroom, bathroom in hallway near master bedroom, In law unit in the backyard, the multiple sheds in the backyard, dining room, and kitchen,
The off-limits will be made inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision.
There are no deficiencies cited today. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Alessandra Puga. |
