13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jyoti Saini and Kassandra Medrano arrived unannounced to deliver the findings from a complaint investigation for the above allegation. LPAs met with Director Sophia Jai and explained the purpose of the inspection. Present during today’s visit, director and four (4) staff members supervising 22 children.
Based on interviews, record reviews, and the self-reported incident submitted to the
Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) by the facility, the LPA concluded that the incident occurred and resulted in injuries to the child. However, the LPA was unable to find sufficient evidence to support the allegation, leading to the conclusion that while the allegation may have occurred or is valid, there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation. Therefore, the allegation is "Unsubstantiated.
Appeal rights were provided.
