25 | On 7/30/2024 at 10:00AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jaleesa Jackson met with Licensee Deanna Gallegos for an Unannounced Annual/Random visit. Present during the inspection was the Licensee, her adult son, her assistant, 6 preschool aged children, and 2 infants. The facility operates 7:00AM to 5:30PM, Monday - Friday The Licensee's home was toured for a health and safety inspection.
ON LIMITS AREA: Living Room, Family Room (Playroom), Dining Area, Kitchen, Bedroom #1 (right of Living room), Hallway Bathroom, Front Yard, Backyard
OFF LIMITS AREA: 4 bedrooms upstairs, Pool area and Garage
ISOLATION AREA: Living Room
The facility is a two-story house owned by the Licensee. The inside of the home was observed to have age-appropriate materials for the children. During today's inspection all toxins, cleaning products, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. All off limit areas in the home are made inaccessible by gates and closed doors. The home has centralized heat and air for proper ventilation. Licensee does have a pool in the back yard and is made inaccessible to children. LPA observed that the pool has at least 5 feet tall fence around it, the gate opens away from the pool, is self closing, and self latching. Licensee provides all food for the children. There is a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher in the home. There is a working smoke/carbon monoxide detector in the home. Licensee stated there are no firearms. Licensee does have a small dog and has 3 chickens in an off limits area.
