25 | On 6/7/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji, met with Erika Archundia for an UNANNOUNCED REQUIRED 1-YEAR INSPECTION. Present during today's visit was a fingerprint cleared assistant and 10 children (1 infant, 8 preschoolers, 1 school age). Licensee, Jose Perez, arrived shortly after LPA's arrival. Facility hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection.
This is a two story home. The home is neat and clean and has heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. ON LIMIT AREAS: two day care rooms, dining room, bedroom, fenced front yard, bathroom. All other rooms are off-limits. The off-limit areas will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors. There are toys and learning equipment. There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present in the on limit areas during the time of the inspection. The home has a fully charged fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector, working telephone, and First Aid Kit. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. Licensee has current CPR/First aid which expires in 2/2025. Mandated reporter certificate was reviewed and Licensee completed training on August 9, 2022.
