25 | On 2/8/2023 at 9:32am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Licensee Yongmei Ji for an Unannounced Annual Inspection. Present during the inspection was the Licensee, three (3) preschool age children and one (1) infant. Licensee’s home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates from 8:30am – 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.
ON LIMITS AREA: Living Room, Dining Room, Downstairs Bathroom and Backyard
OFF LIMITS AREA: Entire 2nd Floor, Kitchen and Laundry Area
ISOLATION AREA: Living Room
The facility is a two story townhouse rented by the Licensee. The inside of the home was observed to be neat, clean with ample age appropriate materials for the children. All toxins, cleaning products, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. Licensee provides all food for the children that is properly stored and maintained. All food that may be brought from the children’s home will be properly labeled and stored. Licensee stated that they do not transport children.
The home has one (1) fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher in the laundry area. There is one (1) working smoke detector in the living room. There is one carbon monoxide detector at the top of the staircase. The home is equipped with central heat and plenty or windows and fans for proper ventilation. The stairs and kitchen have been properly gated making them inaccessible to the children in care. LPA did not observe any bodies of water in or around the home that could be a potential danger to the children in care. The outdoor play area is fully fenced, clean and well maintained with ample age appropriate materials for the children. There is a storage shed that is locked making it inaccessible to the children in care. Licensee stated there are no firearms and no pets in the home. |
