LPA observed a “crib tent” over one of the cribs. Licensee explained that she uses it to keep the baby safe from the other children throwing toys into the crib. LPA informed Licensee that nothing is to be placed over the crib at any time. LPA provided technical assistance on how she can provide extra supervision and prevent the other children from throwing objects into the crib. LPA also observed a swaddling blanket in the crib. LPA informed Licensee that swaddles, and sleep sacks, are not allowed in care. LPA observed all other napping equipment to be properly maintained and properly stored. Licensee uses child sized tables, highchairs, and chairs for mealtimes and other activities.

The outdoor play area was observed to be fully fenced, clean, well maintained with ample age-appropriate materials for the children. There are two (2) storage sheds for extra materials that are locked and made inaccessible to the children in care. LPA did not observe any harmful bodies of water in or around the home.
