25 | On 7/30/2024 at 8:41am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Licensee Yongmei Ji for an Unannounced Annual/Random Inspection. Present during the inspection was the Licensee, one (1) infant, two (2) preschool age children and one (1) school age child. One (1) preschool age child arrived at 10:03am. Licensee lives in the home with her husband and their minor son. Licensee’s home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates from 8:30am – 6:00pm, Monday – Friday.
ON LIMITS AREA: Living Room, Dining Room, Downstairs Bathroom and Backyard
OFF LIMITS AREA: Entire 2nd Floor, Kitchen, and Laundry Area
ISOLATION AREA: Living Room
The facility is a two story townhouse rented by the Licensee. The inside of the home was observed to be neat, clean with ample age-appropriate materials for the children’s learning and play. All toxins, personal medication, cleaning products, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. Licensee provides all food for the children which was observed to be properly maintained and stored. All food that may be brought from the children’s home will be properly labeled and stored. All off limit areas in the home are made inaccessible with locks and gates. Licensee stated she does not transport children, there are no pets, and no firearms in the home.
There is one (1) fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher in the laundry area, one (1) working smoke detector in the living room and one (1) working carbon monoxide detector at the top of the staircase. The stairs and kitchen have been properly gated making them inaccessible to the children in care. The home is equipped with central heat and plenty of windows and fans for proper ventilation during the hotter months. LPA observed two (2) cribs and child sized cots for napping.
