25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sidney Cortez, met with Licensee Huang Jiejing for an Announced Capacity Increase Inspection and Annual Random Inspection.
Present during the inspection was the Licensee, her fingeprint cleared parents (mother and father: Yongguang Huang and Ruilan Mo, and 4 children (4 pre school age). Licensee’s home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates from 7:30am – 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.
The home is two stories which consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 study room, 2 bathrooms on the 2nd floor, and day care room, kitchen, dining area, 1/2 bathroom, garage and backyard on the 1st floor. The home is neat and clean with centralized heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. The OFF LIMIT AREAS are the entire 2nd floor which will be barricaded by a gate by the stairs during day care hours and garage on the 1st floor which will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and visual supervision at all times.
The ISOLATION AREA will be a section of the dining area. The BACKYARD play area is free from defects or dangerous conditions and is fenced. There are ample age appropriate toys that appear to be safe and in good condition. There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water.
All hazardous materials and toxins are kept out of the reach of children. The home has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher, working smoke detector, working carbon monoxide detector, working telephone, and fully stocked First Aid Kit. The licensee CPR and First Aid certificate is current and expires :July 2025. Mandated Reporter is current, and will expire at May 2024.
The licensee conducts and documents fire and disaster drills twice a year with the last one conducted on Jan 2024.
2 Children files were reviewed, facility roster reviewed and copy obtained. The licensee is in ratio today. All REQUIRED forms are posted and visible for public review. |
