25 | A Case Management Inspection was conducted on this date 9/20/2022 by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Melanie Otsuji. LPA met with Director, Deidra Daniels. Also present with the Director were 2 additional staff members and 10 preschool aged children. The center has submitted an application for an increase in capacity from 11 preschoolers to 25 preschoolers. In addition, the center is also adding a room. Hours of operation are from 7am - 6pm, Monday through Friday. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. The following are the measurements:
INDOORS: 799.62 square feet = 23 children
OUTDOORS: 3276.00 square feet = 31 children
Per Director, opening and closing staff have current CPR/FA. Playground equipment is in good condition. Drinking water is available inside and outside. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. Menus are posted. Lunch and Snacks are provided and prepared on site. The storage of napping equipment was observed. Facility utilizes an electronic sign in/out and each representative has their own unique identifier. Facility has a functioning carbon monoxide detector.
This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS. For IMS information, see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226.
