13 | Licensing Program Analyst Lisa Dyer met with Director Amber Lamb to provide the results of the above allegation. Present is the director, 1 staff member and 17 preschool children.
LPA investigated the allegation of Inappropriate form of discipline. During the course of the investigation, interviews were conducted. As a form of discipline, a child had been denied snack because they were crying when it was served. Although it was not the staff member's intent, denying snack to a child, while giving it to others is a violation of the child's personal rights. Based interviews which were conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met. Therefore, the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, (Title 22, Division 12), is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D,, and must be corrected by the due date. Exit interview conducted. Licensee received a copy of their appeal rights. This report must be kept available for public review for 3 years. Notice of site visit was posted at the time of the inspection and must remain posted for 30 days.
