Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini arrived unannounced to deliver the findings from a complaint investigation for the above allegation. LPA met with Director Sarah DeSousa and explained the purpose of the inspection. The director, seven (7) fingerprint-cleared and associated staff members, and 31 children in care were present for today's visit.
Based on interviews, the facility indicated that staff members use a firm tone when disciplining children; however, they do not raise their voices or yell at the children in care. Therefore, the alleged staff yell at the day care children may have occurred or is valid; there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation. Therefore, the allegation is Unsubstantiated.
Notice of Site visit and appeal rights were provided.
An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the director, Sarah DeSousa.

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini arrived unannounced to deliver the findings from a complaint investigation for the above allegation. LPA met with Director Sarah DeSousa and explained the purpose of the inspection. The director, seven(7) fingerprint-cleared and associated staff members, and 14 children in care were present for today's visit.
During the course of the investigation, interviews indicated that no individual witnessed any staff member handling a child inappropriately. Therefore, the alleged Staff handle children in a rough manner may have occurred or is valid; there is no preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation. Therefore, the allegation is "Unsubstantiated.
