On 10/22/2024 at 8:40AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jaleesa Jackson arrived for an Unannounced Annual/Required Inspection, and met Director Sarah De Sousa. There were 11 infants and 5 fingerprint cleared staff members present during the inspection. The facility was toured for a health and safety inspection. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00AM to 6:00PM.

There are two classrooms (Caterpillars and Butterflies) total for the infant license. LPA toured all of the classrooms. Parent use an app called Procare to sign their children in and out of the facility. There is adequate heating/air conditioning, ventilation and lighting. Drinking water is available inside and outside of the center. Each child has their own cubby where they can store their belongs. The isolation area for sick children is the front office, away from other children in care. The facility has smoke detectors, working telephone, and fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguishers and carbon monoxides detectors that are inspected every year by the fire department.

The furniture around the classroom and outdoor area are safe and free from any sharp edges during today's inspection. The learning materials are organized, and toys are kept in safety bins and cabinets for easy access for the children in care to utilize. During today's inspection all hazardous and other potential toxins are made inaccessible to children. The crib aged infant area uses see through cribs. The mattresses are sanitized after each nap. The fitted crib sheets are washed daily by the facility Monday - Thursday and sent home Friday to be washed by parents. LPA observed the changing area was clean and within arms reach of the sink. This facility provides AM snacks, lunch, and PM snacks. The menu is posted at the front for parents to view.

The outdoor play area was toured and LPA observed there is plenty of shade provided for the children.
