13 | On April 19, 2024 at 9:25am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Indira Loza and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Mayla Mendoza met with Lead Teacher Connie Reddick to continue the complaint invesitigation for the above allegation. Present during today's visit were 21 preschool children and 4 staff. LPA and LPM toured the facility for a Health and Safety check. During the course of the investigation staff interviews were conducted, records were reviewed, and children, staff, and parent interviews were conducted.
Based on staff, children, and parent interviews, it was determined that the teachers were present in the area where the incident occurred and parent interviews indicated that the center staff are able to tell them how their child got injured. Therefore this allegation is unsubstantiated, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
Exit interview conducted. Report and Appeal Rights provided to Lead Teacher Connie Reddick.
