LPA L. Dyer conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with Director Antjuanette Carter to discuss the above allegation. Present was the director, 3 teachers, the family advocate and 5 preschool children. Complaint allegation was that Daycare child sustained unexplained bruising while in care.
Interviews were conducted. There was no other information provided to support the allegation. Witnesses did not indicate any issues with the facility or other instances where a child had sustained unexplained bruises in care.
Although the allegation of Day care child sustained unexplained bruising while in care may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur at the facility. Therefore, the results are Unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted. Appeal rights were discussed and given. Notice of Site visit must be posted for 30 days.

LPA L. Dyer conducted an unannounced complaint inspection and met with Director Antjuanette Carter to discuss the above allegation. Present was the director, 3 teachers, the family advocate and 5 preschool children. Complaint allegation was that Staff pinches day care children.
Interviews were conducted. There was no other information provided to support the allegation. Witnesses did not indicate any issues with the facility or other instances where a staff member pinched a day care child.
Although the allegation of Staff pinches day care children may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur at the facility. Therefore, the results are Unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted. Appeal rights were discussed and given. Notice of Site visit must be posted for 30 days.
