On Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at 2:09 PM, Centralized Application Bureau (CAB) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Caroline Colson met with Director Carmina Harris for a case management inspection to request a decrease in capacity for the Preschool Component to 65 preschool children from 2 years of age to 5 years old. The fire clearance was granted and received. The facility operates on Mondays through Fridays from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
LPA measured Classrooms D, E and F for the Preschool Component. The total measurement for the Preschool Component is 2394.22 sq ft. which will accommodate the Applicant's request for 65 Preschool children.


OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
LPA is using measurements from report dated September 19, 2023 for the back play area designated for the Preschool Component. The total measurements are 3411.15 sq. ft. which will not accommodate the Applicant's request for 65 Preschool children.

Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. Care and Supervision was discussed.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

The following items are required before a license will be issued:
1. LPA will discuss updating the Preschool Outdoor Waiver to reflect the new facility number.
