On Thursday, February 3, 2022, LPA Colson met with Susan Stevenson, Center Director, for an unannounced complaint investigation inspection. There are 34 children and 11 staff members including the director. Interviews were conducted. An allegation was made that a staff member hit a child. Documentation was obtained. Based on the investigative findings, there is not enough evidence to prove that a staff member hit a child. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation occur. Therefore, the allegation is Unsubstantiated.
