25 | On June 24, 2022 at 8:36am Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Indira Loza and Catherine Fernandes arrived to the facility to conduct a random Annual Inspection. Present for the inspection were the Licensee, Licensee's Assistant (PJ), and the Licensee's mother. All adults in the home are fingerprint cleared. There were 6 preschool children, 3 infants, and one school-age child
The home is a two story home. consisting of a living room, dinning room, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, unfenced front yard, fenced back yard, shed and basement. The dinning room is the isolation area. The OFF LIMIT areas are the three bedrooms to the right of the kitchen, the basement, shed and fenced back yard. The ON LIMIT AREAS are the living room, kitchen, dining room, and entryway by the front door.. The outdoor play area is the park a block down from the home. There are ample age appropriate toys that are safe and appear to be clean and in good repair. LPA did not observe any hazardous materials or toxins accessible to children today. Breakfast, Lunch and snacks are provided. The home has a fully charged 3A1040BC fire extinguisher, and a working combined smoke and carbon monoxide detector.
The home has a current CPR which expires on 2/27/23. LPA obtained the children’s and staff files for review as well as the children's roster.
Licensee was reminded that California Law requires Licensee to report unusual incidents or injuries to children in care, to child's parents, and to the Department of Social Services using the Unusual Incident/Injury form (LIC 624). Incidents must be reported within 24 hours by phone, fax, or email. Licensee
