The licensee currently provides care only for children aged 2 years and older. The home is a single-story home with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, garage, and backyard. The hours of operation are from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The daycare area is clean, well-organized, and furnished with age-appropriate toys. The home is equipped with a working telephone, functional smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a fire extinguisher. During today’s inspection, LPA did not observe any bodies of water on the premises. The fireplace in the living room is properly screened, and the licensee stated it is not in use. The licensee also confirmed that no firearms are stored in the home. Child sized tables and chairs are available for snacks and activities. Each child has an assigned bed, and the provider stated that blankets and sheets are laundered weekly. The backyard is designated as the outdoor play area and includes tricycles, a playhouse, a trampoline, a swing set, a caterpillar play structure, picnic tables, and other age appropriate equipment. The licensee stated that only two children are permitted on the trampoline at one time. LPA advised the licensee to follow all manufacturer instructions for trampoline use, including supervision requirements. The swing set was inspected and found to be securely anchored. The licensee provides daily snacks and meals for the children. LPA reviewed the children’s files and verified that all required postings are posted.
