32 | LPA measured infant areas, Front #1 and Front# 2. The total classroom space contains a total of 459.34 square feet, which will accommodate Applicant's request for the additional 4 infant children. There are 3 sinks and 3 toilets available for children's use in Front# 2 and a separate private restroom for the staff within the facility. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024).
OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one infant outdoor area on the property and is separate from the preschool and toddler outdoor space. The infant outdoor play area is fenced with wooden fencing that is at least four feet tall. LPA observed a sufficient amount of equipment and toys. There is no play structure present in the outdoor play yard area. There are shaded areas supplied by trees and canopies. The playground is free of debris and other hazards. There are no pools, hot tubs, or other bodies of water present.
There are no changes to the infant outdoor play yard. All measurements remain the same from previous inspections.
LPA discussed 100% supervision is always required in all areas that children have access to including the
bathroom. Personal Rights, inspection authority, reporting requirements, maintaining buildings and grounds
was reviewed. Staff Qualifications, Staff to Children’s ratios and Capacity was explained to ensure
compliance. LPA discussed with Applicant any changes that may occur regarding the director or an employee acting in the director’s absence must be reported to the department within 10 working days.
Director was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org website; a consumer education website that helps families obtain childcare by connecting them to childcare providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California.
Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and
stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other
important information communication platforms.
