Staff handle infants in a rough manner.
INVESTIGATION FINDINGS:

LPAs D. Campos and D. Santiago met with Center Director Carol Wong for a subsequent complaint investigation regarding the above allegation. Present were 13 staff and 53 children in care consisting of 15 infants, 20 toddlers and 18 preschoolers. It was alleged that staff handle infants in a rough manner. During the course of the investigation, interviews were conducted. Although interviews did not disclose staff handle infants in a rough manner another party disclosed observing staff handle infants in a rough manner during a facility tour. During the investigation, children's personal rights were discussed. Based on the investigative findings, there was no evidence to determine whether or not the above allegation happened. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated at this time.

Based on the investigative findings, there was no evidence to determine whether or not the above allegation happened. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated at this time.

Although interviews did not disclose any incident where a staff are sleeping during nap time, another party disclosed observing staff sleeping during nap time while on a facility tour. Based on the investigative findings, there was no evidence to determine whether or not the above allegation happened. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegation is unsubstantiated at this time.
