25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji arrived to the facility unannounced on today's date, 7/26/2024, to conduct a Annual/Random. LPA was met by Licensee, Arti Mangla. Also present during today's visit was a fingerprint cleared assistant and 10 preschool aged children . LPA conducted a health and safety inspection inside and outside. Facility's current hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 8:30AM - 6PM.
The Family Child Care Home in an ADU that has it's own kitchen, and bathroom. ON LIMIT AREAS: Day care room, and bathroom in the additional dwelling unit, and backyard. OFF LIMIT AREAS: All bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen within the main house, and the garage. The off-limit areas will be inaccessible by closed and/or locked doors and a child safety gate for the kitchen area in the ADU. The home has heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. There are no pools, hot tubs or any other bodies of water present during today's inspection. The home has a fully charged 3A40BC fire extinguisher. Facility has a working smoke detector and working carbon monoxide detector, and working telephone. The licensee and her assistant are in compliance with the immunization law. Per licensee, there are no firearms in the home. All REQUIRED forms are posted and visible for public review.
