The licensee stated that children will be walking to the side yard by exiting through the front door and walking around the front patio. The licensee stated that the side yard will be used occasionally; however, she will continue taking the children to the public park located directly in front of the house. The licensee was reminded that 100% visual and physical supervision is required when walking to and from the park and when walking to the side yard. As of today, the right sideward will be part of on limit area. The dining area has a fiber sliding door. The licensee stated that the children are never left alone inside. The home has a working telephone, a functioning smoke detector, a carbon monoxide detector, and a fire extinguisher that meets minimum requirements. During today’s inspection, the LPA did not observe any bodies of water. There is a fireplace in the living room, which is an off-limit area. During the inspection, the licensee confirmed that no firearms or weapons are stored in the home. The fire drill log indicates that the last drill was conducted on 02/11/2026. Each child has separate blankets and cots, and per the licensee, bedding is washed weekly.
