25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini met with Licensee Chemala Venkata Sindhu for an unannounced annual random inspection. LPA explained the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the Licensee. During the inspection, the Licensee and a helper were supervising three (3) preschoolers and two (2) infants. The home is a single-story home consisting of four bedrooms, including a master bedroom with an attached bathroom, a hallway bathroom, a hallway storage closet, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, a family room, a backyard, and a garage. The facility operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The facility has liability insurance through Next Insurance. During the 10/02/2025 inspection, the hallway bathroom was marked as off-limits due to renovation. During today’s inspection, at the Licensee’s request, the hallway bathroom was inspected for health and safety hazard and is now marked as on-limits, as construction work has been completed.
On-Limit Areas: Living room, kitchen, dining room, family room, hallway bathroom, master bedroom bathroom, and backyard. Off-Limit Areas: All bedrooms, including the master bedroom, hallway storage closet, and garage.
LPA inspected the home for health and safety hazards. The home has a working telephone, carbon monoxide and a fire extinguisher that meets minimum requirements. During today’s inspection, no bodies of water were observed. The Licensee stated that there are no guns or weapons in the home. There is no fireplace. The kitchen is made inaccessible with a child gate. The family room is the primary daycare area. The Licensee conducts and documents fire and disaster drills; the log indicates that the most recent drill was conducted in 12/2025. There are no pets in the home. The backyard, which is fully fenced, is used as the outdoor play area. The Licensee’s CPR and First Aid certificates are valid until 4/18/2027. The Licensee provides daily snacks and meals. LPA reviewed the children’s files, which were complete and up to date. All required postings were observed. The facility maintains documentation of 15-minute sleep checks, which was available for review. The facility roster was reviewed, and a copy was obtained.
