32 | BATHROOMS: Facility bathrooms for children and staff are located in the lobby area. Bathrooms are separate from one another with designated signs posted on the doors. Toilets and faucets are in safe and sanitary operating condition. The children are able to reach the sinks and toilets without difficulty. Supplies (soap and paper towels) are available to children.
OUTDOOR PLAY AREA: There is a play structure with slide that has wood chips to absorb falls and anchored for stability as observed by the LPA. There are age appropriate outside toys and materials for the children. The playground is fully fenced and all equipment and surfaces are free from hazards and defects. Facility uses additional play area located on the Echo Church property which is directly outside the facility to the left with has grass cushioning. Additional play area was previously off limits due to structure fire which occurred in January 2022 but has been repaired by Echo Church and now in use by the center.
RECORDS: All individuals subject to criminal record review have a clearance or exemption and have been associated to the facility. Six (6) children's files and three (3) staff files were reviewed including the directors file. All staff files have required health screening and Employee Rights and all children files contain Identification & Emergency, Personal Rights, and Medical Consent forms. LPA reviewed the staff and children's roster and obtained a copy. Mandated Reporter Training certificates and CPR/First Aid certificates are current and up to date for all staff members staff. The center is in compliance with sign in and out procedure via Brightwheel. Disaster drills are being conducted monthly and the last one conducted was on 10/3/2024. All required documents are posted in a public accessible area.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and

Center Director was reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
