On October 2, 2024 at 8:15 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elimika Woods arrived to the facility unannounced to conduct an investigation into the above allegation. Upon arrival LPA was allowed in by the facility representative, Betsy Raj. Present during the visit were 44 preschool children and eight additional staff members. LPA informed the facility representative of the reason for visit.

During the course of the investigation, observations and interviews were conducted. It was alleged that day care staff do not ensure a comfortable temperature for children in the facility is maintained at all times. Per director that temperature is always maintained at a comfortable level for children in care and never is set below the recommended 68 degrees. Per the reporting party the temperature was not comfortable for his child because when he picks up his child and touches there arm it's cold to the touch and he feels the facility had not done enough to make sure the children were warm. Based on interviews conducted and observations, Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.

A notice of site visit was posted by the director. Exit interview conducted with Betsy Raj and Notice of Site Visit provided.
