25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jyoti Saini met with Licensee Sabina Thigeti Sangma for an unannounced Annual Random Inspection. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and was granted entry into the facility by the Licensee. Present during this inspection was the Licensee and two helpers were supervising 10 children (4 infants, 5 preschoolers and 1 school age). Home is a single-story home consisting of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a dining area, a garage, and a backyard. The hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
On-limit areas: bedroom #1 (nap room), living room, dining area, bathroom #1, and the backyard, which is sectioned off into two parts. Off-limit areas: kitchen, master bedroom, adjacent bathroom, bedroom #2, garage, and the other half of the backyard, which contains a tiki hut.
The home has a working telephone, functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and a fire extinguisher that meets minimum requirements. During today’s inspection, the LPA did not observe any bodies of water. Per the Licensee, there are no firearms in the home. The living room is the main daycare area and is set up with a variety of toys and activities for the children. Upon arrival, the LPA observed children eating lunch while infants were preparing for their nap. The nap room contains cribs for the infants, and the Licensee documents 15-minute sleep checks, with the log maintained in the nap room. The provider supplies bedding and sheets, which are washed weekly or as needed. There are child-size tables and chairs for snacks and activities. Licensee and both the helpers have completed Mandated Reporter training, and certificates are maintained in their files. The fire drill log shows the last drill was conducted on 01/27/2026. The Licensee provides daily snacks and meals. The LPA reviewed four children’s files, all of which were complete.The infant file includes the required Individual Infant Sleep Plan (LIC 9227). All required postings are properly posted. The facility roster was reviewed, and a copy was obtained. The backyard is a designated outdoor play area equipped with age appropriate toys.
