13 | On 7/31/24 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tammy Dutra conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the facility and met with Director, Christina Wieck. It was alleged that a staff did not inform parent of a child’s injury, specifically that parents were not notified when C1 had a “busted lip” and when C1 was bitten by other children in care.
LPA conducted staff interviews on 5/8/24 and 6/26/24 (S1-S5), and staff denied allegation that staff did not inform parent of a child’s injury. Staff indicated that injuries are communicated through their Seer App daily. Staff stated injuries that break the skin or may need medical attention are reported to parents in person or via phone/text. Staff indicated that there have been times parents have reported injuries to them that they were unaware of due to the child not indicating there was an issue. Staff stated that due to the age of the infants, minor scrapes, bruises, scratches, and bites were an everyday occurrence and were not always reported to parents. |
