13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Deborah Khashe met with Licensee, Sarah Kelly to deliver the findings of the complaint investigation regarding the above allegations.
During the course of the investigation, LPA inspected the facility, conducted interviews and reviewed records pertaining to allegations. It was alleged that staff did not take precautions to mitigate illness in the center. Staff interviews conducted revealed that staff were instructed to clean walls, toys, and disinfect all the objects children touched, during the time children were being diagnosis with Hand Foot and Mouth Disease. It was reported that notices were given to parents and children who appeared to be sick were isolated and sent home. It was alleged that staff inappropriately discipline children. Based on observation, parent and staff interviews conducted there is no evidence to support the allegation. Staff reported that they talk to children and use time outs. It was alleged that staff are operating over ratio. Based on observation and staff interviews the ratios are being maintained.
