On 02/21/2024 at 2:30 PM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Christina Watts and Dealia Frison conducted an unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Angels Montessori Preschool - Concord. LPAs met with Director, Maryam Karampour and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. During today's visit, there were 15 preschool aged children with 1 staff in one classroom. Director stated there are 15 children enrolled. The finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. Complainant alleges that Staff are eating day care children's food. During the course of the investigation, LPAs completed a physical plant inspection, reviewed facility records and conducted interviews. At this time, LPAs cannot determine whether the Director was eating daycare children's food. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with Director. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.
