13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Cherie Acosta and Christina Watts conducted an unannounced visit to deliver findings on the above allegation. LPAs met with licensee, Lita Reeves. The director was not present during the visit.
It was reported that staff handle children in a rough manner. During the investigation LPA conducted interviews. It was stated during interviews that staff have pulled children apart from each other to stop children from fighting. LPA was unable to prove or disprove if staff handled children in a rough manner during incidents.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is deemed unsubstantiated.
