13 | On 12/9/2025 at 9:28am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with facility owner for a complaint that was received alleging facility fence is in disrepair resulting in day care sustaining injuries. Present during LPAs visit were twelve (12) preschool age children and two (2) additional staff members.
Through the investigation interviews were conducted an files were reviewed. It was found that the facility was previously cited in 2023 for the fencing in the outside yard being in disrepair. The facility fixed the fencing as instructed in a timely manner. There were no reports of an injury occuring and all interviews stated that a child had never been injured before the fence was fixed.
Due to conflicting information, LPA determined although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with facility owner. |
