13 | On 2/12/2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Dana Santiago and Ashley Hollinger arrived to deliver the findings to the above allegation and met with facility director, Angela Caswell. Present in care were 10 preschoolers, 6 toddlers, and 5 additional staff members. During the investigation LPA Santiago conducted interviews with parents and staff, observed the classrooms and staff interactions, reviewed center documentation regarding the allegations and did a walk-through of the center.
It was alleged that the indoor furniture presents a safety hazard. It was observed during multiple visits made by the LPA that the indoor furniture is sturdy and safe. LPA observed rolling carts in the classroom that are used for art supplies and storage of the sleeping cots. During one subsequent visit by the LPA, LPA observed the carts to be unlocked with no brakes against the wall. On another visit LPA observed the rolling carts to be locked and placed next to room divider. It was determined that no injury reports were made in regard to indoor furniture. The Community Care Licensing Department has investigated the complaint allegation, and we have found that the complaint is UNSUBSTANTIATED, which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. The facility was advised to keep rolling carts locked and braked while children are in the facility. Findings were delivered. Continue on 9099c |
