On 02/21/2025 at 2:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christina Watts conducted an unannounced Subsequent Complaint Investigation at Baby Yale Academy PITT. LPA met with Director, Timeesha Mays and explained the purpose of today’s inspection. During today's inspection, there were 10 preschool children in care with 6 staff in 2 classrooms. Director stated there are 12 preschool children enrolled. The finding for the above allegation was delivered during the inspection. Complainant alleges that Staff is hitting the daycare children. During the course of the investigation completed a physical plant inspection, reviewed facility records and conducted interviews. At this time, LPA cannot determine if staff was hitting the daycare children. Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED which means although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur. No Deficiency has been cited for this allegation. Exit interview conducted with Director, Timeesha Mays. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.

Based on the interviews and information obtained throughout the investigation, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met. Therefore, the allegation is SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 is being cited on 9099-D page. Exit interview was conducted with Director, Timeesha Mays. Appeal rights were provided. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 CONSECTIVE DAYS.
