25 | On 6/7/2021 at 8:30 AM Licensing Program Analysts Michelle Sutton and Monica Mathur conducted an announced Pre-licensing follow-up Inspection at Mariessa Kneip home and met with Applicant, Mariessa who has applied for a Small Child Care Home with a capacity of 8 children. The home was toured to conduct a Health and Safety Inspection for corrections that were agreed upon during the last Pre licensing inspection.
At 8:40 AM LPAs toured the inside of the home. Applicant has a working smoke detector and a 2A10BC fire extinguisher. Child passenger safe seat law form and emergency disaster plan is posted. The applicant is reminded to disinfect toys every day when being used in order to follow COVID 19 protocol. Applicant is now putting the kitchen in-use area as the children will use it to access the backyard. LPAs observed kitchen is safe, drawers have locks/latches and all dangerous items are made inaccessible.
At 8:55 AM LPAs toured the backyard where children will be playing. Deck in backyard will be a in-use area as children are going to access the grass and concrete areas walking through the deck. LPAs reminded applicant to have 100% supervision when children are outside playing. Outside gate entrance to the side backyard has a top lock which is inaccessible to children.
AT 9:20 AM Exit interview was conducted with Applicant and she signed the report acknowledging receipts of documents. Applicant has corrected all items as required. License for a Small Family Home will be granted subject to approval with CCLD Management. |
