25 | On June 15, 2022 at 11:30 AM Licensing Program Analyst Nyeesha Blount and Licensing Program Manager Mayla Mendoza met with Licensees Sade Honey and Cheyenne Jones. Also present in the home was 1 Infant 6 Preschool, 3 School age children, and Assistant Alvina Wilson. LPA and LPM conducted an announced Pre Licensing inspection. Hours of operation are Monday - Friday 6:30AM to 11:00PM, Saturday and Sunday 8:00AM to 8:00PM.
.LPA and LPM toured the first and second story of the home Furnishings and equipment, including infant sleeping equipment, are age appropriate and free of sharp/broken pieces. Isolation area for the children will be located in the dinning room. The On limits area of the home will be the kitchen, living room, dinning room, bathroom, first bedroom, right side of the backyard. The off limits area of the home will be the entire second story of the home, left side of the backyard and garage.
There is a working smoke detector and fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher. Outdoor play area has safe structured equipment.. There are no hazardous conditions observed in the patio or outdoor play areas. There are no pools, hot tubs or accessible bodies of water present.
LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment.
