13 | On 2/23/2026 at 9:40am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with director Lucy Larson for a complaint that was received alleging staff did not prevent day care child from putting objects in their nose. The facility holds a single license for infants, toddlers and preschool. Present during the inspection were eighteen children (18), seven (7) infants, five (5) toddlers and six (6) preschool age children, and four (4) additional staff members. The facility operates from 7:30am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday in six (6) rooms, yellow, blue and red (all 3 currently not in use), green (preschool), purple (toddlers), and orange (infants).
Through the investigation documents were collected, interviews were conducted and files were reviewed. Through interview it was found that on two (2) separate occasions a child (C1) in care placed peas in their nose during lunch time. During the second incident a teacher (S1) was reminded to watch C1 to make sure C1 did not put the food in their nose. |
