On 5/6/2026 at 9:20am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with director Vandana Anand for a 10-day complaint visit for a complaint that was received alleging staff restrooms are not in good repair. Present during LPAs visit were one hundred twenty-six (126) children (55 infants and 71 preschool age children), and thirty-two (32) additional staff. The facility holds a single license with an infant and preschool component. Thirteen (13) classrooms were toured. One (1) additional classroom was not in use. The facility operates from 7:00am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday.

During LPAs visit documents were collected and interview was conducted. The facility has two staff restrooms. It was stated that last week, one of the restrooms was out of order and the other was not functioning properly. The facility requested maintainence for the restroom and both were fixed within 24 hours. LPA also observed both restrooms to be working and in good repair during todays visit.

LPA determined the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22 is being cited on the attached LIC 9099D. A Type B deficiency is being cited today for the restrooms not being in good repair last week. Due to the facility fixing the issue the deficiency is being cleared today. There is no plan of correction needed.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with director Vandana Anand.
