25 | On 2/13/2023 at 12:35pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Morgan Pringle met with Licensee Juliana Ramirez for an Unannounced Annual Inspection. Present during the inspection was the Licensee, her husband Edgar Hernandez, three (3) infants and seven (7) preschool age children. Licensee lives in the home with her husband and their six (6) year old son. Licensee’s home was toured for a health and safety inspection. The facility operates from 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday - Friday.
ON LIMITS AREA: Living Room, Downstairs Bathroom, Kitchen, Dining Room and Patio
OFF LIMITS AREA: Entire Second Floor and Garage
ISOLATION AREA: Living Room
The facility is a two-story home rented by the Licensee. The inside of the home was observed to be neat, clean with ample age appropriate materials for the children. All toxins, cleaning products, and hazardous materials were observed to be in inaccessible areas. Licensee provides all food for the children. All food that is brought from the children’s home will be properly labeled and stored. Licensee stated that they do not transport children and there are no firearms in the home. There is also one (1) small dog in the home.
The home has one (1) fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher in the kitchen and one (1) 1A10BC fire extinguisher in the downstairs closet. There is a fire alarm in the entry way, and a working smoke/carbon monoxide detector in the living room. The home is equipped with central heat and air for proper ventilation. The staircase is gated making it and the second floor inaccessible to the children. The back-patio area is fully fenced, clean and well maintained with ample age appropriate materials for the children. There is a small sandbox that is kept covered when not in use. LPA did not observe any bodies of water in or around the home that could be a potential danger to the children in care. |
