On 01/24/2025 at 10:30 AM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kiriko Lynch. At 10:30 AM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee was supervising five children and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 8 AM-5 PM, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are all bedrooms, garage, prefab shop, and were made inaccessible by child safety knobs, gates, locks etc. Home utilizes central air and heat. The children use the backyard as the outdoor play area, and it is fenced completely. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard. Five children's records were reviewed at 11:15 AM. One staff record was also reviewed at 11:15 AM. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
