25 | On 01/24/2025 at 12:30 PM, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kiriko Lynch. At 12:30 PM the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and co-licensee were supervising three children and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 7:30 AM-5:30 PM, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are main bedroom/bath, upstairs bedroom, upstairs bathroom, garage, chicken yard, side yard, and were made inaccessible by child safety knobs, gates, locks etc. The home has a pellet stove insert barricaded by fencing. Home utilizes forced air. The children use the backyard as the outdoor play area, and it is fenced completely. There were no pools or other bodies of water observed in the yard. Five children's records were reviewed at 1:30 PM. One staff record was also reviewed at 1:30 PM. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
